The UAE government has issued Federal Law No. 7 of 2017 regarding tax procedures.
The Ministry of Finance in the UAE has said that it will initiate the imposition of value-added tax in the UAE as of January 2018 and that the door for registration will open as of the first, according to the aforementioned law and its executive regulations issued under Cabinet Resolution No. 36 of 2017.
The UAE value-added tax is compulsory for every person charged and that the mandatory registration limit in the tax is that the supplies reach 375 thousand dirhams in the past twelve months or are expected to reach that number within the next 30 days or an optional registration of 187 thousand dirhams.
